Three more teens charged over alleged stabbing of homeless man

Detectives from the Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit have charged an additional three teenagers following an alleged serious assault on a homeless man in regional Victoria last week. The youths, whose identities are protected under the Children’s Court Act, face various charges related to the late-night incident that has left the local community searching for answers.

This latest development brings the total number of individuals charged in connection with the confrontation to six. The victim, a man of no fixed address, continues his recovery after sustaining significant injuries during the encounter in Bendigo’s CBD. Police have maintained a heightened presence in the area as they continue to piece together the events leading up to the altercation.

All three teenagers have been remanded to appear before a Children’s Court at a later date. Victoria Police have reiterated their call for any witnesses or individuals with mobile phone footage of the event to contact Crime Stoppers, as the investigation into the circumstances remains ongoing.
